Cape Fear Botanical Garden

Just a short drive away you will find the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. Since 1989, Cape Fear Botanical Garden has grown and flourished to become a beautiful and treasured part of Fayetteville, NC. The Garden has an essential role in the community and enhances the quality of life for people of all ages by providing cultural and educational programs, field trips and camps for children, resiliency programs for soldiers and veterans, and places, both native and cultivated, in which to connect with nature.

Whether you like shopping in local stores, or just enjoy a good walk, Elizabethtown has it all! 

National, State, and Local Parks

Elizabethtown has many state and local parks to choose from. Jones' Lake State park is minutes away and has hiking trails, canoeing, swimming, and fishing available as well as picnic areas. Tory Hole park has a disc golf course and a newly renovated playground for children. Moores Creek Battlefield is also just a short drive away.

Vineyard Golf of White Lake

If you love to play a round of golf, you will enjoy Vineyard Golf of White Lake.  

White Lake Water Park

Come enjoy water slides, go-karts, bumper boats, and a kiddie area!

Wilmington Beaches

We have many beautiful beaches all within an hour and a half drive of our camp! Choose from Wrightsville, Carolina, Kure, or Fort Fisher beaches for a fun day in the sun!

Biking

White Lake now has a beautiful multi-use path located on the Northwest side of the lake between Turtle Cove and Waterford housing developments. It is perfect for walking, running, and especially biking. Brown's Creek trail is located just off Hwy 87, across from the airport. The Bike Trail has climbs, switchbacks, high-speed down hill action, jumps, rock gardens, berms and obstacles. Basically Brown's Creek has everything your looking for in a bike trail. No admission fees, free parking. Less than a mile away from beautiful downtown Elizabethtown and minutes away from White Lake.
